The Boys & Girls Foundation, a subsidiary of the Boys & Girls Aid Society of San Diego, Ltd., has been dedicated to improving the lives of troubled youths who reside in San Diego County since 1903.

The goal of B&G Foundation is to seek out and support innovative projects for at-risk children and adolescents. Some of the projects that the B&G Foundation supports are the Tariq Khamisa Foundation, the Legal Aid Society for the creation of a mediation program between teenage offenders and their victims, along with special groups that assist children affected by divorce, homelessness and sexual abuse. In addition, the Foundation’s parent organization, Boys & Girls Aid Society of San Diego, Ltd., has provided direct preventative services to abused and neglected children and adolescents. Today, their residential center (located on Steele Canyon Road in east San Diego County) provides the means for these youngsters to receive around-the-clock treatment and participate in programs that help them make positive life choices with self assurance.

All contributions to the B&G Foundation are used directly to fund nonprofit projects in our area that benefit the lives of these children and their families. The Foundation is self-supporting and requires NO additional funds for its minimal administrative and operational expenses.
